Prof. Roos at the Global Deans Forum in Shenzhen
27.10.2014:
As a representative of the Faculty the Dean of Research Prof. Michael Roos participated in the Global Forum of Deans of the Peking University HSBC Business School (PHBS) in Shezhen. On the occasion of the festivities for the 10th anniversary of its founding, the PHBS organized a meeting with 40 deans of Business Schools from around the world from October 23 to October 25, 2014.

The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung has created a ranking list of the most influential economic faculties in its university ranking in October 2014. The Ruhr-University`s Faculty of Management and Economics comes third in the current FAZ ranking.

Fir for start-ups
13.10.2014:
A joint workshop for the doctorates of the RUB`s Engineering Faculties and the Faculty of Management and Economics was held in building ID 04/471 on 09.10.2014. The main focus of the event was the business start-up.

The faculty is headed by the Dean and the Vice Dean. They are supported by the Dean's Office which serves as

• a contact point for members of the faculty
• an interface to the Central Administration of the Ruhr-University
• a focal point for national and international interested persons of the university- and non-university-based sector as well as for
• the alumni and future projects.

By cooperating with renowned research organizations, foreign partner universities, nationally and internationally successful companies and representatives of other research institutions, the course contents of the Faculty of Management and Economics are constantly adapted to the current demands of an increasingly globalized world.
