Symposium in memory of Professor Dr. Dieter Schneider
On April 10, 2015 a symposium was held by the Faculty of Management and Economics to honour the memory of Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. mult. Dieter Schneider who sadly passed away last year. Professor Schneider spent most of his professional life teaching and conducting research in Bochum. The symposium marked the occasion of his 80th birthday.
Top rankings for Prof. Dr. Wieseke
Ruhr-Universität Professor Dr. Wieseke has been ranked among the world’s best researchers by the leading newspaper “Handelsblatt” and the “American Marketing Association”.
Prof. Dr. Christoph M. Schmidt was appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Krupp Foundation
Prof. Dr. Schmidt, Professor at the Faculty of Management and Economics and President of the Rhine-Westphalia Institute for Economic Research, has been appointed as a member to the Board of Trustees of the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach Foundation. This decision was taken in the first December meeting of the Foundation.
Successful completion of project „ Optimal Quality Care in Emergency Services”
Within the framework of the project “Optimal Quality Care in Emergency Services”, funded by the foundation “Zukunft NRW,” a team lead by Prof. Dr. Werners at the Chair of Business Administration has developed a prototype for a “decision support system” which can be used by all emergency services.
